What does our safeguarding children course teach?

Our Safeguarding Children training course is aimed at anyone who looks after or meets children in their chosen profession where a duty of care is required.  Most children will grow up to lead happy lives, however, this is not the case for many children.

This course will provide statistic pulling together key information on the risk to children, the types of abuse suffered and what to look for if abuse is suspected.  Key safeguarding legislation will be highlighted which are specifically enacted to help to minimise abuse of children.

Once your employees have completed this course, they will not only be better equipped to recognise possible child abuse, but they will also know what to do to protect children in their care.

Who needs to go through our safeguarding children training?

Anyone who works with children is required by law to undertake appropriate child safeguarding training. This includes a variety of industry sectors and groups including the following:

• Nursery workers
• Teachers
• Childminders
• Charities that work with children
• Youth workers
• Trustees of charities that work with children
• Other organisations that may come into contact with children

How much does the safeguarding children training cost?

The safeguarding children training costs £35 per person/license and can be ordered directly from here.

If you need to provide this training to more than 25 employees, then the following discounts will apply:

5% discount for orders of 25+ courses
7.5% discount for orders of 50+ courses
10% discount for all orders over 100 courses.
