Our diabetes awareness course will equip your first aiders with key information.
It is estimated that over 4 million people in the UK have diabetes. The majority of which will have type 2 diabetes (90%) with 8% attributed to type 1 diabetes and the rest to other rarer types of diabetes. It is therefore probable that within the workplace a proportion of the workforce will suffer from this condition.
This diabetes awareness training will fulfil the requirements of first aiders being provided with refresher training to keep their skills updated.
