What modules are offered in the training?

The training material is presented over two separate modules, covering  key aspects of cyber security.  This training is ideal for those new to cyber security and will therefore provide a general awareness which will take about 25 minutes.  The modules are as follows:

• Module 1:Cyber Security Overview
  This module provides a general overview of cyber security before looking at the groups that  pose a cyber threat to you and your organisation and what action can be taken to protect you and your business. Groups covered will include:

• • Cyber Threat Actors
  • Foreign Governments
  • Hackers
  • Political Activists
  • Terrorist Organisations
  • Malicious Insiders
  • Negligent Employees

• Module 2: Combatting Cyber Attacks
  This module looks at some useful tips to help you identify and deal effectively with cyber attacks.  The areas covered will include:

• • Phishing
  • Creating Strong Passwords
  • Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Stay Alert

Who needs to go through this cyber security training?

Everyone.  We all need to understand and learn about cyber security.  Laptops, mobile devices and desktop computers all have access to the internet where these attacks can take place.  Having a basic awareness and understanding of what constitutes cyber security and knowing how to safeguard our devices is a small price to pay to protect oneself or the organisation.

How much is this cyber security awareness training?

The training course costs £35 per person/licence and can be ordered directly from here.
